Isabella Farms will be hosting an Oldenburg/GOV inspection. We will be updating this page periodically with more information. Please register your mares and foals through the Oldenburg website. Stabling requests and payments must be sent directly to Isabella Farms. Please see links.
Required Documents For Inspection
For a stallion or mare to be inspected for breeding approval you must bring the ORIGINAL registration papers of the horse being inspected on inspection day for stamping. All mares must be inspected and entered into the German Oldenburg or Weser-Ems Mare Books in order to have their foals registered.
For a foal inspection and registration we need the completed breeding certificate and the registration form. Both forms has to be e-maild to the German office. Please note the closing dates for the inspection. Please see e-mail address below. *The breeding certificate (fresh semen) must be obtained from your stallion's owner.* For frozen semen the breeding certificate can be signed from the veterinarian. Your foal's papers can not be issued until your breeding certificate has been received.

For foal inspection and registration of foals conceived via Embryo Trasfer, you must also submit a completed Embryo Trasfer Certificate at the foal's inspection.

Microchip Instructions
On inspection day you will be issued a microchip for your foal which needs to be impanted into the left side of your foals neck by your vet. You will also be given a Microchip Implant form on inspection day that needs to be signed by your vet once the chip is implanted and either NA office. Your foal's papers can not be issued until the Microchip Implant Form has been received.

1 - Click on the red links above for the appropriate form that you need (For example: "Oldenburg Foal/Yearling Form" if you would like to register a German Oldenburg foal.INSPECTION REGISTRATION FORMS
The above linked Inspection forms need to be completed at least four weeks prior to your chosen inspection. Please follow the directions below:
2 - Download the form. You may need to select "Open File" when prompted by your computer. The Word version of the form should open in your word processing software. The pdf version of the form should open the document in your adobe reader software. Please choose the version that you and your compute perfer.
3 - Fill in all of the fields in the top section of the form by placing your cursor into each of the darker gray boxes, and type over the text that is already in the box.
4 - Click "Save As", and save the form into a place on your computer where you will easily be able to find it. Please rename the file with your horse's name included. This will help us to keep them organized, and for you to create multiple forms if you have more than one horse.
5 - Email the form. Click on this link: scharmann.bastian@oldenburger-pferde.com. This will bring up an e-mail addressed to the Oldenburg German office. Attach your registration form and the breeding certificate and then send it to the German office.
*Please consider that without the requested forms we are not able to work on your registration.
*Please note: All mares must be inspected and entered into our Mare Books in order to have their foals registered. If you mare has not been prestend to us, please fill out the above Mare/Stallion form and include it with their foals.
*Please note: If you are submitting a Mare or Stallion Inspection form and your horse is not German registered (it has a registration number that does not begin with DE) you must also attach a scanned copy of your horse's pedigree from it's registration papers.
